It was fascinating to discover in researching cases just what lengths some were willing to go to in a fit of homicidal rage that will be just as shocking to readers. Was there anything new you discovered, or that surprised you, as you wrote this book? It steps away from the more typical serial killer, mass murder, and terrorism true crime stories of modern times in genre. The book brings to life age-old true but forgotten compelling tales of love triangles that resulted in murder. How does this book make a contribution to the genre? I would like readers to feel a sense of history in this book, in terms of the old adage, “what goes around, comes around,” as it relates to the correlation between jealousy, passions, and murder that has been a part of landscape for centuries, and as such, is not a recent phenomenon.
